Greg "Garbo" Garbowsky (born September 10, 1986) is an American musician. He is the bass guitarist for the band Jonas Brothers.
Life before the band
Garbo grew up in New Jersey. At the age of thirteen he received a bass for Christmas and taught himself to play. He played bass in a band called Level Zero, which won a Battle of the Bands at Seton Hall in 2005. Greg attended Seton Hall University for one year before auditioning for the Jonas Brothers in May 2005. Garbo is currently on a European tour with the Jonas Brothers and will be joining them on their summer tour as well.
Television
Garbo has performed on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve as well as the American Music Awards and Dancing With the Stars with the Jonas Brothers. He has also made several appearances on The Ellen Degeneres Show and many other talk shows like The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Live with Regis and Kelly, and The Oprah Winfrey Show. He also performed with Miley Cyrus at the 2007 Disney Channel Games closing ceremonies. He has appeared in several episodes of "Living the Dream" with the Jonas Brothers.
